Deadpool Corps 3

I forgot to upload this. It's the cover for the third issue of Deadpool Corps 3. It is supposed to be a play on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney. Hope ya like it!

Deadpool Corps

CBR just posted the Advanced Solicitations for Marvels X Books and the Deadpool Corps cover I did with Rob Liefeld was among the bunch. Hope ya digz!

Mage Angel

So here's the final painting for that Angel Illustration I mentioned before. I didn't go with the sketch I posted earlier because I wanted it to be much lighter since it was meant to be the opposite of another "dark" card. This was definitely a fun one, I hope you enjoy it!

New Liefeld Collabos

Hey hey hey! Here are to pieces I did with Rob Liefeld that I recently saw on IMAGE comics' solicitations. Both of these were a lot of fun, especially because I got to be pretty painterly with them.

Dos Mas

Last two of the bunch! These are two of my favs because 1. they're women and I never get the opportunity to paint women, and 2. The designs and poses were a ton of fun to mess with. I hope you dig 'em.

Exile Gods

2 More

Here are two more!

Exile Gods!

Here are some "Character Card" Illustration I did for a game called Exile Gods. These were a lot of fun! My AD gave me free reign and I used the opportunity to try out some things I've been wanting to mess with for a while. Although he didn't need backgrounds for these I added some subtle backgrounds to a few of them. Also, the bottom half will be covered with transparent text so I kept it pretty loose down there. Hope you enjoy!

I have some more I'll be posting soon.

Study

Here's a value/color study I did recently. I was actually studying Chris Rahn's value/palette to be specific. This was really fun to do, and will most likely end up getting finished. Hope you dig it!

Justly Earned Victory

This is an OLD one that I revised recently. I thought the original had potential but it had some real weak spots. I'd still like to refine this some more but I probably won't for a while and I just wanted to post this already. Hope you dig it!

Photoshop cs4

Self Porttait Day

Here's my submission for CA.org's Self Portrait Day thread. So much fun and a welcome break from the ridiculous amount of work I've been buried under. Hope you enjoy.

3 1/2 hours painted from life in Photoshop CS4

Face Off!

I don't really know what to call this one so I went with that cheesy title. I just finished this up and am ready to have my peers tear it apart! (hopefully) This was SO much fun, especially suggesting all the buildings in the background and the clouds. I also had a lot of fun with the palette. But I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Mike

Samurai Wolvie

Not much going on lately, just work. But I had a little time the other night after finishing a page and knocked this out. It's definitely a speedpaint. I'd like to finish it but it most likely won't happen so I figured I'd post it as is.

Figure Study MMA

Took some time to do a warm up piece today. I've been wanted to paint something from my MMA Reference folder for ever. Any time I do a study, it's always of a static figure. So I wanted to do something in action. Hope ya dig.

Mike

Clownface

I painted this one during whatever breaks and free time I've had over the last couple days. This was a lot of fun and LONG over due. I've been wanting to paint Clownface for EVER! I'm sure I'll revisit him again in the future. Hope ya dig it.

Late Night Sketchin!

Here's a super quickie I did last night before going to sleep. I was laying down and this image popped in my head so I had to get it down quick before it was gone. This'll definitely be painted... as soon as I've got the time again.
